Klaus Jan Philipp is a leading expert in the history of architecture, with a special focus on the 1960/70s. He is interested in systematic surveys on early digital planning, industrial construction and societal uses/reuses. In the field of critical iconology, he addresses material aesthetics and spatial concepts from late 1950s onward, dealing with wider contexts of technology, economics and politics.
